Sai Kama Tonfa

Kama, Sai and Tonfa are traditional Okinawan martial arts weapons used in both offensive and defensive maneuvers. They are normally used and sold in pairs. The kama is a traditional Okinawan and Japanese farming implement similar to a sickle used for reaping crops and also employed as a weapon. The kama is often included in weapon training segments of karate, silat, tae kwon do, etc. the sai is a traditional Okinawan weapon. The basic form of the weapon is that of a pointed, dagger-shaped truncheon with two curved prongs called yoku projecting from the handle. The yoku are usually symmetrical. There are many variety of light weight decorative Kama and Sai for “sports karate” competitors use in the open tournaments.
